Found Recruitment are working with a market leading food manufacturing company in Tonbridge, who are on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician or Engineer to join their incredibly skilled and experienced engineering team.

The company has an outstanding local reputation for looking after their staff members and providing a super clean and enjoyable environment to work in.

The role will be Monday – Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm rotating on weekly basis.

Key responsibilities for the role of Maintenance Technician will be to:

• Work on both reactive and proactive maintenance, in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain and repair equipment like pumps, motors, inverters, and pressure systems.
• Check and test components to ensure proper functioning
• Minimise machinery downtime by responding promptly to breakdowns
• Collaborate with other engineering teams and production team members to provide technical support.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

The ideal candidate for this position will have hands on mechanical and electrical engineering experience, ideally within an FMCG environment, working with pumps and motors. Your current job role could consist of Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician. Engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
